It's been a few years since I've built any systems or did any desktop gaming. So I am a little outdated with all the hardware. With the release of several games I have anticipated, I have decided to build a new system. From doing some research, it looks like the i5-2500K is the way to go for gaming systems. I'm still debating the video card and monitor and other things, but looking to start with the i5-2500K. Looking forward to any and all advice. Thanks!
Thanks again for the quick response. I have been looking at the 7850HD cards. With quiet a few different brands sporting the same card, is one better than the other? For example, Asus, Sapphire and Power Color?
if you want to go that extra mile and use a thermal paste to shave off a couple of degrees. hot deal going on right now. (use paypal or amazon on checkout, rather not have a company get your card info directly)
