Hello,
Please let me know whether Intel Pentium CPU G630 is a dual core processor or not.

It is a dual core. Despite that I have to say it's pretty good for it's price. I'm using a G620 and the only thing it has not taken well is obviously BF3

It's a lower end dual core. Despite its low clockspeed, it is still reasonably fast, so it can handle light gaming. More demanding games and certain productivity applications will cause it to struggle though, so you may want to aim higher if you intend to do either of those things.
