I'm planning to get a graphics card from the entry level ranges, and have some real tight budget restrictons at the moment.

Given that entry level cards aren't really even close to being called powerful I was wondering if it's worth paying an extra amount of money for a 2GB card or is better, if possible to get a 1GB card with a little better specs?
I'm looking for something less than $100.
I mostly intend to use it for light gaming and CAD. (Right now I use the onboard nvidia 7025)

My computer specs right now are:
Motherboard: ASUS M4N68T-M
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3 GHz
Memory: 4GB DDR3
550W PSU

Thanks for the quick help guys!
Your answers leave little doubt about what choice to make. I'm going to check out what deal I can get on the cards that have been suggested here now :)

2Gb is totaly useless if you don,t have a superior resolution and you can't have high resolution with a 100$ GPU.

a 6770 will be sub 100$
