Hello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkcentre M70E 0806 E1U and want to purchase a Viewsonic VX 2453 MH 24" LED monitor. Will the Intel graphics accelerator x4500 be able to handle/displat the 1920x1080p resolution? Will I need to purchase a video card?

It will handle the display just fine. What it will not do is play 3D games. At least not well. It is fine for 2D stuff like the games that come with Windows and games at Pogo.

Thanks for your response/info. Do you know if it will display true 1920x1080 resolution? I'm obviously do not have much computer knowledge but when I checked my current resolution it only shows a maximum resolution available of 1280x1024 with my current old Dell !196FP monitor. I assume that's due to the currently loaded drivers for this monitor. I just don't want to buy a new monitor and have worse display than I do now! Thanks again for your time.

Well the 1280x1024 should be the limit for your old monitors and does not relate to the graphic cards. Your new monitor which is 1920x1080 should be supported by your X4500 and will run 2D application.
