Now two GTX 680's may hanlde that res, but.... With one you may only see 30-35 fps avg with 1 gtx 680 at that resolution

I'm not sure what your question is about your speakers. Yes they will work, but maybe you shouldn't be buying such an expensive sound card for running a 2.1 setup.

Also, you should get an SSD and you don't need a 1200w power supply.

LoL! I would wait for Ivy Bridge to come out, maybe next week is the release day. Get the Ivy Bridge 3770K and the get the MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H, these two should do the job. If you're planning to overclock the CPU or GPU the motherboard should be more than enough for you're needs. I read great revives about the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H overclocking the I7 3770k they had some pretty good benchmark points. If you want a pretty decent overclock and quite air cooling for your CPU, I would recommend the Cooler Master RR-H612-20PK-R3. If you want extreme air cooling capabilities, I would go for Noctua D-14 it's a very quite and the performance on this thing is just unbeatable for overclock on air! but if you want to push the limits on the CPU, I would suggest to go with water cooling and water cooled your GPU too! DON"T GET CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES, THEY"RE LITTLE OVER-PRICED AND THE PERFORCE ISN'T THAT GOOD EITHER!

Why would you shop on EBAY? Try using Newegg, tigerdirect, NCIX USA, those where most people buy their stuff including myself. And they are also pretty trustworthy not unlike EBAY!

Ok you are not overclocking anything, then you have no reason to go for a K processor. In fact, if youre not overclocking anything, it is not the extreme build.

LoL! This thing is funny, you obviously haven't built a computer before and you don't noting about them. Are you kidding me?!?!? if you're a first time builder, I suggest try build a middle class gaming PC, just start from the basic like everyone else did. Build a pc that would cost you about 1000 dollars and start from there, check out youtube videos how computer components really work and how to pick parts based on you're own needs man. Do some research about the specs of the parts, you're going for. DO YOU"RE OWN RESEARCH LEARN, IT'S ALL ABOUT YOUR NEEDS. LEARNING IS A GOOD STEP TO TAKE BEFORE PHYSICALLY DOING IT. BELIEVE ME!

guys it was difficult to negotiate with my parents since 5 yrs i have been running this some what useful dump of core 2 duo i2@ 2.93 ghz, 4 gb ram, 1 gb 9400gt, with a damaged psu which gives you a good shock if you touch the damn cabinet case which is all black in colour . And i am thinking of getting i7 ivy bridge .
