Looking for advice on my budget build

I'm looking to build my first computer for gaming so I did some research and threw together this build. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could look over the parts and confirm whether or not they are all compatible and whether I'm really getting the most bang for my buck. My budget is 700 dollars, minus 100 for an OS, so technically 600 dollars.

Here is the link to my build:

That looks pretty good - I wouldn't go that cheap on the PSU though - if you can get a Corsair CX600 and then use the $20.00 MIR and that will come out to about the same price. I would also not get a P67 either - go H67 or Z68.

I don't see anything wrong with that OCZ ZS 550W PSU, its a great quality PSU and I can assure you that. There is really no reason to switch to Corsair, it's only cheap because of the huge rebate.

I see why the motherboard should be changed, wouldn't it be best to go for a newer chipset motherboard?

Well the B75 is a replacement for H67 and H61, and Z75 would probably be ideal but I don't really know if that will offer a significant improvement over Z68 or not, too many choices right now.

Any ideas for a decent Z68 motherboard that would fit in with this build while staying at 600 dollars?

Here's a $600 build I typically recommend:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 - $59.99 ($10.00 MIR)
PSU: Corsair CX600 V2 - $69.99 ($20.00 MIR)
Motherboard: Asrock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 - $127.99
CPU: 3.3GHz Intel Core i3-2120 - $127.99
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaw X 1600Mhz 1.5V - $46.99
HD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB - $79.99
Optical: Lite On DVD Burner - $17.99
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 - $169.99 ($10.00 MIR)

Total: $704.92 - $40.00 MIR = $664.92

A little bit over but you don't have to sacrifice the motherboard or GPU.

To save a bit I would downgrade that PSU to 550W. I use a 65W CPU, a Radeon 6570 GPU on a 280W PSU, so I swear 500W will be fine.

You could save a couple of dollars by getting Ripjaws X 1333MHz, there's a very little difference between 1600MHz. If you wanted to also save $30 then go for a Radeon 6850.
