Dos Printing in Windows XP

How to directly print (send a file to printer) any file being in dos window.
i dont want to spool via windows interface. in WINDOWS XP

You don't.

Since there is no DOS in Windows XP (just the emulator) all drivers lead to
Windows.

Even the old "type filename.ext > prn" will go through the spool..
