Safe Temperature Ranges?

Hello guys,

I was just wondering if anyone could provide me with a link to a thread containing safe GPU temperature ranges. Recently set up my crossfire, and one card seems to be getting a bit hotter than the other. The maximum temperature I have seen using GPU-Z has been <80 degrees. But the temperature rapidly decreased after minimizing the game and checking the GPU-Z software.

Thanks once again in advance!

Anything over 60 degrees is a little a high. That's all there is to it, no need more threads to explain this. I would manually set the fan speed to 80% or greater using Catalyst Control Center or the nVidia equivalent.

My rule of thumb. If it is 80c then it is too hot even if your GPU states Max temps 99c.
If you keep your temps lower than 80c then you will always be safe.

Here is another link to MSI Afterburner and a link to Core Temp With MSI Afterbuner not only can you monitor your temps you can OC your cards set fan speeds and a whole lot of other stuff.. Good luck to ya.
