Ok so I fixed my other problem with games crashing, it was because one of my fans on my graphics card fell out. Anyways, when playing games such as Team Fortress 2 and Skyrim, my game will run fine but sometimes drop to 20-25 fps temporarily, and then shortly after, go back to perfect. The computer i'm on is very capable on not lagging on games. If anyone knows why this could occur, I would love a response.

Thanks! :sol:

One of your card's fans? I didn't know any GTX 550ti had more than one fan.
But to your point... The 550ti is a mid range card. What resolution are you gaming at? Have you cleaned your system of junk files, resource wasting crap, and registry errors lately? Try CCleaner. Do the Clean and Registry both. Let's start with a cleanup...

After I posted, I did a quick search to see if I could find one. To my surprise I found a Gigabyte GTX550ti that had two fans. Amazing. Do folks O/C the 550ti to the point the 2 fans are necessary?
