Port not opening

Hello, I have an Arris 652 modem/router. I'm trying to play Call of Duty Black Ops and the game played fine until yesterday, now when I got to play online it won't connect to a match. I tried port forwarding and all of that and it won't open the port(3074) for the game.

Port forwarding is only needed when you run a server or are using torrent software; it should never be needed to play a game. You must have some other issue.
