My system is the A8-3870k with 6670 Crossfired with the onboard 6550d. I also have the M59 with stock rear fan and side panel fan with cooler master 212+ using turbo fan speed and 8GB ram. I have this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371029 I might also do some overclocking, but if the psu isn't enough for overclocking I won't overclock. Can it run this system without frying it or anything, and will it last for a long time and not fry after a year?

Yeah you'll be fine. The 6670 isn't very demanding, I believe only uses the 75w delivered from the motherboard. The A8 is a 100w chip and would not exceed 140w with overclocking. Probably way less than that. Go for it, and remember start small and work your way up! Good luck and have fun.

So am I able to overclock without damaging the psu?

Hey also, I'm gonna get the coolermaster 212+ which will cool down my pc really really good so I can overclock a lot, if I overclock 3.0ghz to like lets say 3.7ghz, how much more watts does it take?

Its hard to say exactly, but like i said earlier no more than 40, but most likely less than 20w.

It all depends on the voltage increase needed for your overclock. But that will be insignificant compared to the size of your PSU. Your system could run on a 300w PSU, and your talking about a wattage increase of less than 20w, its going to be fine.

Thanks, I'm a little worried because on the amd site they said they recommend 400 psu for 6670 and 500 psu for 6670 crossfiring with onboard 6550d
