that link will not work.

as long as its an "ACTIVE" display port to DVI adapter yes it will.
sapphire make one that works well. (I have 3)

never had any luck with VGA (DSUB) monitors in the group

What is the difference between powered and active?

looks like it will be fine. although does not give much product detail at all. but gives the same model number as

i know the early adapters required power from a USB port in order to work but since have been redesigned to be self contained and draw power from the cards.
