Jumpy hdmi connection

Hello,
I just bought a ASUS X53E and use a hdmi to connect to a shard 46 inch LCD, When connected the picture is jumpy, like the connection is bad or something. I tried on another tv with the same hdmi cord and don't have any problems. HELP ME!
