Need new sound card

I'm looking to get a Tritton PC510 HDA headset. It needs a 5.1 sound card, which I dont have. Im just wondering if i should get a different headset or get a sound card. Also what sound card should I get. Thanks a ton.

For the best SQ/$$ go with standard wired stereo cans, mic and for gaming check out the better cards for the game/s u play? Budget cans you;d be looking at stuff like the JVC RX700, Superlux 668B, Sansom SR850, Koss PortaPros, etc?
