Upgraded to Q6600 - old cpu still showing - help!

Hey there.

I upgraded a CPU from an Intel E6550 to a Q6600. However, although the BIOS recognises the Q6600, Vista shows both the old E6550 and and the newer Q6600 listed - i.e 2 x Core Duo E6550 and 2 x Q6600, meaning it's listing 4 processors!

Can anyone please let me know how I can fix this? Is it just a simple case of deleting the 2 E6550 entries from the Processors within Device Manager or is there something else that needs done?

As always your help is much appreciated :)

Try deleting the incorrect entries and reboot.
