So I have been wanting to get a new CPU fan to replace my stock (it is loud loud loud) and i found one to seem to be the one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... How ever i have run into a conflict, I checked my mother board has a 4 pin CPU fan connecter and not a 3 pin like the fan I have found requires. So my question is will it fit with one pin hanging lose. My Specs are in the signature. Thank You! Get the answer rockhard April 21, 2012 8:04:42 PM To further explain: 3pin connector pinouts are ground, +12V and tachometer. 4pin connector adds a pin for speed control (pulse width modulation) Also to note; you can still control your fan speed on a 3pin connector.
