C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop\2.jpghello guys,
I have the following problem: I am building a computer but the case Fans wont work:
I attached some pictures.
I guess the plug in picture (sse below) is the one of the fans but it doesn't work when plugged with the power supply. I have two of that, one female and one male and this power supply

Now, I have NO connectors for the female, so I was wondering if there something which doesn't go with the case, the power supply or me.
Thank you for your help.

First, thank you for your time and consideration.
Second, Unfortunately it seems that all the connectors of the PSU are female. And except for the female molex of the case, all the others are male.
I was thinking about the cable you linked me. I thought it was the best solution but what looks weird to me is that I purchased everything new and updated (psu, Mobo and Case) and I can't belive I am facing this stupid problem.

If you have any ideas, or you think I am missing something, please let me know,

thank you

PSU molex connectors should be female. That's normal.
Power in to a device uses the male connector. The female connectors are to bring power back out to go somewhere else.
Your best bet is the case manual as delluser said.

hi guys, thank you for replies,
I checked the manual, but it doesn' say anything about that.
I was thinking about buying another connector but the one suggested will not work as I have:
Female PSU connector > MALE to 2 Female (Y cable)> Female case fan connector.

Is there a way I can transform a Female connector into a male?

I can't belive I am the only one having this trouble, I am probably doing something wrong but I can't figure it out.

Thank you

You are right, all the PSU molex connectors are female, but then how it comes I have two case molex one male and one female?
It looks like one is for the fans while the other one is for the fan speed.
But If I plug only one, none of the fans work.

here is the link for the manula but it shows anything

You shouldn't need another adapter.
See the 3 pass thru connectors in this photo, 2 of them joined

You need to plug the Molex connector from your psu into the back of the pass thru connector in your photo and then check the actual fan connections to make sure that they are tight

If they are you may have a bad controller

The mini connector is so that you can add a 3 pin fan.
There's no way of monitoring any of the fans speeds.

Your right, that manual is next to useless.

ok Delluser1,
So, in your opinion I miss a molex.... A male one I mean,
I took that picture from technopower up just to show the connector but maybe you are right.
I will double check tonight and get some pictures.
But than, why there is a female molex in the Case? What's that for?

thank you for your help
