Sending a SMS as a E MAil on my 610 was easy but on my 3650 I can't
seem to get it to allow letters in the box where you type the
recipients phone number.
Anyone know how to do this please ?
Thanks

are you on o2?
u use the option "send sms e-mail" if the handset has this option
if not u compose new text with email address as the first part, then your
message after that and send it to 212

Yep O2, even when I set it in the option to send as e mail it still
will not allow text on the top box
I'll try the next tip though and let you know.
Thanks again

if i wanted to send an email to me@me.com I would do this
start a new text message as normal with the email address at the begining,
then write the meassage body, like this
me@me.com this is a test message
I would then send this message to 212
providing the email address is valid, the email will be delivered.
You are probably changing the settings of the text messages where it says
"messages sent as: text/data/fax/email" - this is the wrong option to choose
