The thread "says" it all. I was just wondering if a 650 Watt Visiontek PSU will suffice crossfire-x with the 6850?
I know its 500W for one GPU, then hear additional 130W is needed for crossfire-x. Thus, putting me at 630W of required power, but most do not take in all of the other components that require power; i.e. external USB 2.0/3.0 HDD's, mouse, keyboard, etc. that draw power from the PSU. I know there is an extra 20W of power, but I would hate to get all the opinions I can to make sure I won't lose my PSU from plugging in something like my external HDD's and not having enough power to support it all.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
