Where do you place custom maps in BF, and how do you load them?

If you mean for vanilla battlefield and not a mod:


C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\bf1942
\levels

once you've loaded the maps to the proper directory, you don't need to
do anything special to "run" the maps, except connect to a server.
