Need a good monitor for this build!

get a cheaper case, you don't need the cooler nor the fan. Get a 120Hz monitor. Lose the one you have........... 21" is small and anything bigger.......... man, you'll be glad you did.

Now regarding the build I would change the memory brand. I would get one of these three brands for only a few dollars more (there are different colors of the memory if you really want it to match for the same price.

If you don't mind spending that much money on a case and like how it looks go for it. As for the CPU cooler its a i5-2500k at some point he will want to overclock and then he will need the CPU cooler. As for the extra fan I will agree that isn't truly needed (if you do get one don't get blue get a red Antec one to match).

You may want to also consider upgrading the motherboard to a Z77 for future upgrade ability but if you don't plan on upgrading the CPU then stick with what you have.

IMO, all 60Hz TN Panels are the same. I barely notice a difference between my non-LED all-in-one computer's monitor and the LED 20" one.

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Gen3. It is actually $40 cheaper than the Z68!

That is a great motherboard but if you want to save a bit of money you can also consider this one. It has all the same features. I have dealt with Biostar products and have only had positive experience. ASRock I haven't personally dealt with but they are recommended a lot.
