Memory upgrade help?

I have a 256mb stick of pc2100 DDR sdram, 184pin, not-ECC I'm pretty sure the Cas latency is 2.5. However I'm not sure of this and plan on buying another stick of 256mb from crucial. What specifications Have to be the same when pairing two sticks in the same system? How can I check the specifications of the ram that is in there now?

If you bought your first stick at Crucial, it must have CAS of 2.5. They don't sell CAS2 PC2100 yet. Still, their CAS2.5 DDR memory is known to run without a hitch at CAS2 settings.
