Pc restarting

Hello, my pc keeps restarting while i play games such as assassins creed revelations or skyrim.... Funny thing is it doesnt restart on high performance games like bf3 or crysis 2. Can someone please help me?

do you know your cpu temps?

more "demanding" games actually need more gpu than cpu. less demanding games can use MORE of the cpu.

and at what resolution(s) are you playing?

its running from about 30 degrees celsius to about 40 degrees celsius idoling
......my resolution is at 1440x900

thats a good idle, what about a full load? try running prime 95 to stress it

if it gets HOT fast stop the workers. if it runs for 20 minutes with temps not going over 65 your good. under 60 is excellent. 70 or over could be a problem.

running on that resolution will be a larger load on your cpu with the gpu being able to put out more frames.
