How will my system hold up in eyefinity?

Okay after a lot of deliberation and saving my money I've come to a pretty difficult decision. I have a 6950 flex edition 2gb and around $600. I can get 2 more 24' 1080p monitors for 3 monitor eyefinity ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009245 ) and a new motherboard ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514 ) but I'm not sure my gpu will be able to power 3 24' 1080p monitors. I generally play pretty graphics intense games like BF3 and Crysis so I'm wondering how my system will hold up under the load. If anyone knows or has had experience with 6950 eyefinity, please let me know thanks!

the 6950 should handle eyefinity by itself. but probably won't handle 5760x1080 gaming at high settings by itself.

Okay thanks guys I guess i'm waiting. Now, does anyone know when vendors will stop stocking 2gb 6950s..? I usually shop from newegg, microcenter, or tigerdirect. I don't want to wait then end up not being able to get one.

you have $600, right?

go ahead and get the 6950 *NOW* (they are in low supply), your new motherboard, and one of your 24" monitors.

then add the third monitor in a month or two
