Hey Guys !

I just got some unexpected cash and want to upgrade my GPU.

I currently have a PNY XLR8 GTX 460 OC

I play a few games like Battlefield 3 or COD, plan on playing Diablo 3.
I currently have one 27" LED monitor and plan on getting a second one soon.

I'm not sure about getting a second one or getting a newer single GPU.

The two other cards I'm looking into are GTX 560 ti 448 or maybe GTX 570

My current build :

■Coolermaster HAF-X
■ i7 2600K
■ Asus P8z68-V PRO/Gen3
■Corsair H80
■16 Gb Corsair Vengeance
■2x 1TO HDD
■2x 64GB SSD
■Asus VE278Q 27" LED

What do you guys think would be the smartest choice ?

I would probably say go with a 570 for your budget but if you do end up getting another monitor, you may need more vram. How long would you like this card to last? You may want to look at a 6970 because of its vram. Playing at those high resolutions will weigh in on your vram, especially in newer games to come.

If you're planning on definitely getting a second monitor and you need a new card now, get a 6970 and crossfire it down the line when they come down in price. If you're planning on sticking with the one, get a 570.

Or if you can wait awhile, the Keplers are likely to drive down 79xx prices and, if you're willing to move your budget up a bit, you could get a 7950 at $375-425 price point. Well worth the wait if you ask me.
