I uninstalled windows xp and tried to reinstall windows xp and I get a message saying the cpu is overheating and then it says I have no signal ? I have changed the video card and the fan, could you please help me.

did you turn off your pc when you got the warning?? it was telling you your cpu was to hot. you may have fried your cpu. check that the cpu heat sink on right. if your not getting any post. try taking power off the mb for 20 min and clearing the cmos with the jumper. if you get no post..do the fans spin if they are..try removing the ram first and see if the mb gives you cmos beep code for no ram. if it does...mb and cpu are trying to boot. it could be a bad power supply or monitor.
