Additional Comments

I've done a bit of research and I'm kinda leaning towards the AMD FX 6100. It seems to suit my needs (gaming, video-editing) and besides, I can pair it with a feature-rich motherboard without breaking the bank.

Would like input on that, positive/negative (in regard to the processor ofcourse!)

By the way, I'm looking forward to having:

  • Performance
  • Upgradeability

Also, will the Enhanced Bulldozers (PileDriver) use the same chipset? Because that's another reason why I'm currently favoring AMD, upgradeability in the future.

    Thanks for the reply!

Mm... the build you suggested doesn't seem to fit my budget.

  • i5 2500K - $240
  • Gigabyte GA-Z68P-DS3 - $179
  • Corsair 4 X 2 GB - $42
  • GTX 560ti/HD 6870 - $246
  • Cooler Master HAF 913 - $151
  • WD/Seagate Barracuda 500GB - $100

    Almost close to $1000. :D

Could you try to come up with something else? Also, what do you think about the FX 6100?
