I am buying a new system and I was wondering if my current power supply that I have had since 2010 would be good enough to power my new system or do I have to buy a new one.
My current power supply is, BFG GX Series BFGR550WGXPSU GX-550 Power Supply - ATX, Modular, 550 Watts, 140mm Silent Fan.
New computer will be:
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge
HIS IceQ hd-6870 1GB 256-bit
GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
SAMSUNG 830 Series SSD
If you have any suggestions about any other parts let me know as this is the first computer I will be building. I would like to use my current PSU and save money but if I have to get a new one I will have to wait a few weeks and spend more money I guess
