Damaged Memory?

Is it possible to damage RAM by feeding it to much voltage? I have 256 megs of 2100 DDR. Its suposed to get 2.5v but my MB jumpers were set to 2.8. Now when I set the FSB to 133 like its suposed to run at, it locks-up. If I set the FSB to 130, it runs ok.

Is this CAS2, 2.5, or 3 memory, and at what CAS are you running it? Are you overclocking your processor at all?
