this xfx

the power supply is for a build with an i7 2600k at 4.6 and an existing 6950. right now the rig pulls 330 watts from the wall under full gpu and cpu load so a 550watt + psu would be "ok" but something under 100 dollars would be fine hopefully under 100 dollars after shipping and before rebates.

can someone find something better?

I can't find you anything better i can find you better bang for buck reliable and acceptable for what you need also your links don't work this PSU could run two 6950 in crossfire no problem it's build by Super Flower and has received high reviews by professional benchmarking test sites PSU: $89.99 Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Modular Design, Single +12V Rail, ATX12V v2.31/EPS12V v2.92, SLI Ready, CrossFire Ready, Active-PFC Power Supply

Out of those those two the XFX is better it's 80 PLUS BRONZE rated and built by seasonic ;)

yeah i know its better but i could care less about efficiency. its less then 3-5% difference anyway. so instead of 220 a year in power for it its 225 a year. idc lol

i was leaning towards the xfx anyway as it just looks better.

 true but i wouldn't get the silverstone don't get me wrong it's not horrible but it doesn't compare to the XFX and it's never a wise idea to skimp on PSU. ;)

yeah you're right. if only you could get a modular unit for that price and output.... oh well i shall go for the XFX unless anyone else finds something better.
