Additional Comments: One week left so I wanted to double check before purchase. My desktop is not going to be near router so I definitely need a PCI wireless card... Not really sure what to get here. I chose not to get a HDD just yet since I put windows 8 on my htpc with a 500gb drive and with everything installed I am only using 60 gb. A lot of my stuff is stored in the cloud and I have externals full of music. I plan to add one later, but as part of the build it won't be in the budget.

Also, I noticed most of the 7850's are a little more expensive then this HIS one.. Should I purchase now for the savings? Thanks.

Here is what I have so far:

Just in case link doesn't work:

MOBO: AsROCK Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 $121.99
CPU: i5 2500k $219.99
CPU: CM Hyper 212 $29.99
GPU: HIS Radeon 7850 2GB $239.99
SSD: Mushkin 120GB $119.99
PSU: Corsair 650 $89.99
RAM: Corsair Veng 8GB 1600 $53.99
Arctic Silver Compount $5.99
DVD: ASUS Drive $17.99

Total: ~899.91

I plan to shop around on Amazon for more savings. (All of these are from newegg)

Sooo what do you guys thing?

Get a z77 board, same model effectively, just has PCI-e 3.0 and thunderbolt. At this point I might wait for Ivy Bridge as opposed to buying a sandy, it's so close. A 120gb SSD is not enough, get another drive to run in tandem with it. I suggest the Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb. The Hyper 212 is somewhat loud too, but is still bang for the buck and is a good OC candidate. Case choice is great, I love the 650d.

I thought it did support PCI-e 3.0. Not really concerned with thunderbolt. I'm not waiting for Ivy in June didn't you read I was buying this next week? Also any help on the wireless PCI card would be great.

The HDD is definitely not an issue I said I was upgrading that later and I did not even mention a case...
