i like ati radeon, so i would like to go with the second setup.

it really depends on you to decide. if you nvidia, then go with the first. if not, then go with the second.

the MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE Geforce 7950GX2 priced as a one card, a good buy for the money instead of buying 2 vga card.

you will need an additional card if you go for ati in order to run crossfire. but it's more upgradeable in the future if there will be newer vga card you can add in to the system. with crossfire, you still can use the current card and paired with a newer one that supports crossfire. so from my situation, i will save more money if i run with the ati radeon crossfire setup. :)

i maybe wrong, please correct me.

If you value your money, drop the X6800 for an E6600 (almost three times less expensive) and build your own watercooling loop from quality components, you should have more than enough headroom to exceed 3GHz as long as you don't skimp on the ram.

As for the GX2, avoid it in favor of a more powerfull single GPU solution, when running a game without SLI support, that 7950GX2 will be no faster than a 7900GT or underclocked 7900GTX.

trully, i don't know what will be the fastest.

but for your reference, here is a link from anandtech which reviewed some motherboards supporting core 2 duo processor:
http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2797

and here to compare your vga card buy list:
http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html

if you plan to sli, a x1900xt radeon running crossfire will run faster than nvidia geforce 7950. even a single x1900xt will run over 7950gx2 in some application.. just try the tomshardware vga chart link first then make a decision :)

*sigh* I do wonder if you bothered trying to understand our replies...

As I pointed out before, that X6800 is a bad choice as far as performance/price is concerned, same goes for the 7950GX2.

Sapphire Radeon X1900XT 512MB $298
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 $150
E6600 $329

It totals to "only" $777, leaving you with a bit over a thousand dollars that you can save for a mid 2007 upgrade, doing so will allow you to have a very good gaming system now then an even better system 6 months from now, believe me, you'll regret having spent almost two grands when the next crop of GPU and CPUs hit the market next year and absolutely outperforms that overly expensive hardware.

You either missed the point to my last post or completely misunderstood me.

My stance is simple, really, you build a very capable system now around the components that I linked to (or equivalents within the same price range) and save the leftover sum for something even better next year.

That X6800 is way too expensive for its performance level and will devalue fast while opting for the E6600 now will leave you with enough money to upgrade that system of yours sometime next year.

Seriously, It doesn't make any sense to ask for advice then ignore any input given to you. If your decision already is set in stone, why do you keep asking for our opinion ?

because i did not pay any thing for the new computer
my manger will pay
so if i get X6800 now that will be better than E6600
after one month i will sell x8600 and buy E6600
so that very good bussines for me
and i will use one video cart
so which will be the best motherbord and video cart ??
i need stong computer
