I am planning to buy a gts 450 1gb gpu for my pc. currently i have a intex smart psu 450W, but it doesnt have a 6 pin pcie power connector. can i use a 6 pin molex connector adapter on my psu? i heard it from someone, that is should i upgrade psu?
Anything that needs a power connector will blow that PSU up. It's crap and probably doesn't supply much power on the +12V rail. I would try to find a Radeon 4670 which is pci-e 2.0 and doesn't need a power connector. If you want anything more powerful than that you'll need a new PSU, IMO.
Buy a Radeon 7750 (newly released so might not me in stock right now) as it will run on your current PSU and offer you greater performance than a GTS 450

can i use the molex adapter ? 7750 is a pcie 2.1 , but mine only support upto pcie 2.0 (mobo is pcie 1.0)
so i need a gts 450

it has 20A supply on 12V rail. I checked on outervision extreme psu calculator and it says i require a maximum of 293 watts in psu with the GTS 450 paired with my system. So it will be ok , isnt it?
