I was wondering, If i get a graphics card which requires 2 6pin cables can I use it along with my case which requires 3 4pin cables? (its for the fans (x3) and they have 3 cables, 2 4 pin cables, one with 4 which stick out and one with 4 that have holes in them, and they have a cable to plug into mobo for fan control.)

PSU:

Case:

So my question is, with that PSU will i be able to power my case and possibly 2 6pin graphics card? (one is fine because the PSU has 1x PCI-E connector)

P.S( The picture has a list of the cables that come with the PSU)

Thanks all.

Fans don't generally connect to the power supply; they connect to the motherboard. If you have more fans than headers, molex adapters for fans are usually of a pass-through design and can still be used to provide a connection to a 6-pin adapter. Fans don't usually draw more than a few watts so multiple connections are unlikely to be an issue.

You should see my daisy chained fan connectors. I'm running 3 fans off a single molex with those adapters chained together :D

I agree with DM186 on the dubious quality of the power supply. I've had 2 cheap power supply cook 2 different motherboards. One of them even killed the CD writer.

As for fan connections, the fans don't draw that much power so you can connect them all together if you wish. Just be aware that if you hook them into a power supply they will run at full speed all the time unless you modify the adapters.
