Hi I currently have selected the radeon hd 6950 2 gb. I am going to run 3 monitors in the future for gaming and I want to know if there is a cheaper card i can get (maybe 200-250) or should i keep this one. What do you think?

Keep that one and get a second one when you plan to run 3 monitors. CF 6950's run 3 monitors well at 5760x1080. may have to lower some settings a bit on some games but overall cheapest eyefinity rig that i would go for.

You can just use one for eyefinity.

But who wants to have 3 monitors and play on medium settings? :)

True. I was mainly talking about first time gaming on PC. You can get the second GPU at a later date as well. :)

Yeah, i agree. You won't find a better card for the OP's price range that can do 3+ monitors too :)
It might actually be better to get the monitors first so you can gauge your performance on just the one card and see if you find it acceptable. If not you can get the second card.

For an updated answer for 2015, I'd recommend upgrading to a NVIDIA GeFORCE GT 740 to run 3 screens in your multiple monitor computer. Just an FYI for anyone running across this older thread.
