First of all thank you for the advice :D. I was reading about the new processors and it would be nice for my processor to not be outdated the day I install it :p. What are prices like when they first come out and how long until the price drops? I was unsure about the sound card but since I don't need one i plan on going to the 7850 with the extra money. And the RAM was suppose to be 2 sticks of 4GB *facepalm.* Thanks again.

The prices are the same for the processors. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ivy-bridge-benchmark-core-i7-3770k,3181.html
They aren't that much of an upgrade but if I was building my own I would want to put one in my build. Ram is so cheap now that I would upgrade to 8GB anyways The set I linked is $50 (after promo code) and 4GB will be about $30, just to keep extra for future applications without having to upgrade then.
