Hi im just wondering if anyone has any experience of buying a gaming pc of ebay?

For example...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AMD-BULLDOZER-3-6GHZ-OVERCLOC...

I was looking at this model with the idea of upgrading to much better gpu further down the line/

Worth the money/risk? or should I just build my own!?!

In terms of price/performance that's actually pretty good but I imagine the PSU is pretty low quality and having an already power hungry CPU overclocked that far isn't going to help it.

I would send them a message and ask for the model of the PSU and what fans are included on the case.

Reserve not hit,
and you don't know what their reserve is so...
I'd leave it man and build your own seeing as its so short on time now (25 min)

thanks for replies think il build my own .
my plan is spend about £400 sterling to get me up and running and playing games ( particularly bf3 ) at reasonable settings..hopefully high.. hahaha and to get a much better gpu further down the line. ive a great LG monitor etc sorted already and can probably get a copy of windows ok

any suggestions for a good budget setup list of parts? im a bit clueless at the moment so any help would be greatly appreciated!

An i3-2120 or the Ivy Bridge equivalent should perform similarly to that overclocked FX-8 in games. For the GPU, a HD 6790 would be about the same as the GTX 550Ti. A GTX 460 1GB, HD 6850, HD 7770 or GTX 560 would be better if you can afford it

one more quick question.would a fx 4100 or i3 2120 with higher end graphics card ie gtx 560 or hd 7770 give good results on high ( not ultra ) settings on bf3 multiplayer?

Yeah I think you should probably be OK on high settings with the i3-2120 and one of those cards.
