6670 and 5750

Hello,

My motherboard has two PCI-E slots, I just bought a radeon 6670 card (XFX) to upgrade my radeon 5750 (also XFX). I noticed there is enough room between the slots for both cards to be housed.

Can I do this?
Also, should I do this?
Is there a benefit to having one video card per monitor (I have two HP 2311x monitors)?

you can only run 2 cards at the same time in tandem when they are from the same gpu family and if your motherboard supports xfire. a 5750 would work with a 5770 or a 6770 but not a 6670.
the 6670 really isnt an upgrade over the 5750; should have bought the 7750 if you are looking for one without a power plug

Not really sure what to say as far as specs on if this is an upgrade, but my system did respond better in Rift, which is the main game my wife and I play currently.

Plus the price was right.

I repackaged the 5750 and will use it as a spare, thank you for the answer

How exactly is the HD6670 an upgrade to a HD5750? It's slower, if anything.

Not to be weird, but I bought the 6670 yesterday, and can return it still.

I only have about another 50$ I can spend on this so figure all told my price range is 170$, what would you guys recommend as an upgrade to the 5750?

I'll see if I can find a good overclocking guide, thank you

Well, pretty much the worst thing that could happen, happened.

Whole system died when I tried to Overclock it, from a 2.4, to a 2.5, I followed all the guides, did everything I could but system will get as far as post and then just shuts down.

I don't have allot of time to waste on building a new one, so I oredered this one:

http://shop.amd.com/us/All/Detail/Desktop/CM1740-04

Its a basic ASUS that had decent reviews, I have heard nothign but good things about ASUS, so I hope this was a good decisions

However when I go to do a comparison on my HD 5750 versus the integrated AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon HD 6550D, I can't find a single result.

This site helped me , somewhat, but so far you guys have been the best source of info, any thoughts on this machine?
