Hello everyone is was wondering if a Thermaltake Frio CPU Cooler would fit an a Cooler Master Elite 331 - Mid tower - ATX case and if it would be man enough to cool a i5 2500k overclocked to around 4.0-4.5 GHz and if it is compatible with a Gigabyte Z77-D3H Motherboard.

the Thermaltake Frio will handle an overclocked 2500K no problem. but i doubt its going to fit in that case. i have a Contac 29 cooler and an Antec Six Hundred Case and the cooler is half inch close to the side panel already. your case is skinnier and the Frio is taller than the Contac 29.

one problem is i have already brought the case so could you recommend a cpu cooler that could fit in the case and work with the mobo and cool the cpu.

The Elite 331 can take a cpu cooler 6.42" and below. Anything above this height will not be able to fit.
