Will an antec HCG 620W work if i plug it into a 220V outlet or it will start a house fire after i plug it in? I can
t see any power regulator switch and a 110V cable came with it so i'm guessing it works only on 110V?

says its auto switching 100v to 240v

so with the right cable it will work on uk sockets

Yes its that one. I mean there could be only one HCG 620... well actually there is a modular version but mine is non modular

then should be fine

most modern decent psus dont have the 110v-240v red switch they are auto switching to the right voltage

just need the right cable for the socket of the country you want to use it in

PSUs with Active PFC usually have hard-wired line input and boost whatever they get to 300-400VDC for the primary storage cap(s) instead of using the error-prone voltage-doubler switch. Some passive/no-PFC PSUs are hard-wired with/without voltage-doubling circuitry with their primary-side designed to work over a wider primary storage voltage range.

In general, if there is no switch, the PSU has universal input range. When in doubt, check the label or manual.

it will definately work, i ran antec hcg 620 non modular for about half year with that same cable on 220v
