Hello,
i'm doing a mini itx gaming build.
i've been reading alot on cpu, gpu, apu.
i can't decide what combo i want to do
a8 a 6000 series gpu
or
athlon ii 641 hd 7770 gpu
i know i can dual graphics with an apu and certain 6000 gpu
but hd 7770 has more powerful graphics

i would be running games like battlefield 3, combat arms, teamfortress 2, minecraft and terraria

More about : cpu gpu apu gpu

If heat buildup isn't an issue in a small form factor case, I would go for the Athlon II 641/HD7770. But keep in mind, for gaming either combination is going to be weak at 1080p if that's your resolution. If this is an HTPC, either is more than you need for streaming, blu-ray, etc.

resolutions probably will be less than 1080p so no prob there
and i will have a coolermaster gemin ii m4 low profile cpu fan, big fan but short
the highest resolutions for any lthing max will be high not ultra

For $700 you could probably get a Phenom II x 4 setup with a respectable HD 7850 provided you have the peripherals like a mouse, keyboard and such.
