The best graphic card for i5-2400

Hello, im building my own rig, but i cant seem to decide which video card to buy.
Im planning on playing Crysis 2 (preferably max) and Metro 2033 (max)

I was wondering which video card suits the above prefernces?

I can consider anything from $200 - $300

I would read this http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/159 and consider a AMD Radeon 6950 2gb version and flash it in a 6970.But please be carefull and read to save your 6950 bios before you flash it into a 6970 so if anything goes wrong you can go back.
Or you can wait for 7850 or 7870 early March if not 6950 2 gb version

Two intense games on MAX settings for under $300? That puts you on this page of THG's Best GPU For the Money page.

The Nvidia GTX 560 Ti - 448 Cores and AMD 6950 2G are the best single cards for under $300. Or you could XFire two 6850s or SLI two GTX 550 Tis.

Just picked up a GeForce GTX 570 GC with 480 cores. Im able to play both at max settings with 1600 x 900 resolutions (will upgrade monitor soon XD). The average fps for both games are around 45 - 55. I bought the card for $310 (tax and everything). Was it a good deal?

i think its a fine deal. at your resolution GTX570 is completely overkill. both the game that you mention will hit the gpu quite hard on max setting. but for most of the game out there you will be able to max them out easily even at 1080p
