Have decided to build my own pc and if anyone would like to look over what I have chosen and give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking for a gaming set up that will be able to run games like diablo 3, guildwars 2 and battlefield 3 as well as being futureproof for the next 3 or 4 years.

This is what i have in mind so far:

Im not sure if the graphics card is a bit too much for what i want. Going to running on a 21ish inch screen

Budget up to £800

thanks

A budget up to 800 EUR isn't going to give you a future-proof pc, especially not with the new consoles coming out an a year and a half. At that point, graphics tech will improve at a much faster rate than how they're going right now, as proven by history. A computer for $1200 (American) will last you about 2 years before you'll have to start losing playable frames on your highest settings.
I am unable to open the link as well, but that's my 2 cents about the budget and expectations of the yield.

Not true at all - at the current exchange rate £800 (GBP not EUR) = $1,293.84 US. :ouch: You can build a perfectly capable system for that. Don't use the PC - console comparison because PCs have far better GPUs on them than most consoles - especially the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3.

Try this (without looking at the posted wishlist) :

Case: Fractal Design Arc MIDI - £69.41
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 - £87.00
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Pro - £134.12
CPU: 3.30GHz Intel Core i5-2500k - £160.98
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - £25.18
HD: 1TB Western Digital 7200RPM - £100.92
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 1600MHz 1.5V - £39.58
Optical: LG DVD Burner - £13.14
Video Card: Power Color Radeon HD 7850 - £190.54

Total: £830.46
