Will this card be compatible with my computer?

http://www.zotacusa.com/geforce-gt-520-zt-50608-10l.html

I have a Dell Dimension 3100. It is running Windows 7 64-bit and I need to upgrade the card. I cannot find a normal PCI card that is both W7 64 bit compatible and PCI.

I also have a PCI-E X1 slot and found this card. It says it is windows 7 compatible but does that mean 64 b it as well? I could not find that information. Also is there anything else I need to know if it will be compatible? Thanks everyone.

  1. It is compatible for PCIE x1 which you do have. Also video cards have nothing to do with 32 or 64 bit. All are compatible.
  2. Definitely use a PCIe x1 card. Here is a list of PCIe x1 cards from newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600007854&IsNodeId=1&name=PCI%20Express%20x1

Or the Zotac is fine. If it is a reasonably modern card then it will have a driver for Win 7 64bit.
