Clear Dayi have recently bought a second hand 3310 which i was assured was
unlocked to all networks however when i put myVirgin sim card in and switch
the phone on i am getting the message 'sim card not accepted'. It also does
the same with a Orange sim card, I bought this from a friend who i cannot
contact for a while so any help would be gratefully accepted.
thanks

I could give you the code that -may- unlock it.

If that doesnt work then you'll have to take it to a person/company who can
flash it.

I could be wrong, but aren't there two types of 3310? One for 02 and
Vodafone networks, the other for Orange and TMobile (which the Virgin
network uses). Maybe you've got the one that will only take 02 and Voda SIM
cards.

Mike.

No, the 3310 is dual band so it'll work on all UK networks except 3. As for
unlocking it, have a look at www.unlockme.co.uk
