Mixing graphics cards

Hello,
I have an HP xw8400 with an Nvidia Quadro FX 4500 running two 3MP grayscale displays. I want to add two more regular color screens for normal apps. I have another Nvidia Quadro FX 1500. Can I mix the two model cards?

Yes, you can mix those two cards if the HP XW8400 has an extra slot to accommodate the card. Just make sure you don't try to SLI them... they will work perfectly fine.
If this is your Mobo

I think those 2 Black slots will accommodate both your cards and you'll be good to go.

Thanks alyoshka. I have two PCI slots, just wasn't sure if there would be driver conflicts with two different graphics cards. Since they are both similar nVidia cards, will the same nVidia control panel will recognize and drive both cards? I currently have the fx 4500 intalled. I suppose i just plug and play the 1500 or would I need to install additional drivers?

The photo you posted is my mobo. Thanks, I'll plug in the 1500 and give it a try.
