I have a sprint mifi device that I use to get on to the internet. Recentlt I purchased a security system with a DVR that only has an ethernet port for internet connection.

So how do I connect the DVR to the internet?

Thanks

You'll need to get a wireless bridge. Configure the bridge so that it connects wirelessly to the mifi device, and then connect the bridge and the DVR with a standard ethernet cable.

This device claims that it has a bridge mode, although I have no experience with this brand. Other, more popular brands also sell AP/Bridges, but they're suually about twice the price.

Alternatively, if you have an old router and you like to tinker, you could see if DD-WRT is supported by that router, and use that to set up a bridge.
