Basically, they all come wiht a 20 GB HD, Live headset, HD/composite hybrid
cable, access to Live Marketplace, and Live preview promos (like the how
some premium cable channel used to have those free 3 day previews). VGA
cables will also be available, like the Dreamcast.
What’s Inside the Xbox 360?
The Xbox is already the fastest and most powerful video game system on the
market. Xbox 360™ will be the most powerful next generation platform that
delivers the right mix of hardware power, software elegance and service
innovation.
An IBM CPU consisting of three 3.2GHz cores.
A 20 gigabyte hard drive is standard, detachable and upgradeable.
---------
The Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable is an “all-in-one” solution for both Hi-
Definition TVs that use component video input and Standard Definition TVs
that use composite video input. The Component HD AV Cable provides optimal
audio and video signal transfer, so you’ll experience true next-generation
gaming. *It’s important to note that this is the featured cable that is
included with the Xbox 360 console.*
--------
The Xbox 360 Headset heightens the experience of the unprecedented online
gaming community, Xbox Live, allowing gamers to strategize with teammates,
trash-talk opponents or just chat with friends while playing their favorite
games. *It’s important to note that this headset is included with the Xbox
360 console.*
---------
Instant Access on Xbox 360
In the next generation, we want all consumers who purchase Xbox 360 to have
the opportunity to experience Xbox Live at the touch of a button. Out of
the box a consumer will experience:
Membership on the Xbox Live community by just plugging in an Ethernet cord
Access to Xbox Live Marketplace
Ability to download from Xbox Live Arcade
Community and Communication Features (Gamertag, Gamer Profile, Message
Center)
Limited Online Multiplayer Gaming (e.g. Free Xbox Live Weekend)
Free 1 month trial for gaming online out of the box
How much will this cost? Nothing!
Now, if they want to enjoy full-time, full-access multiplayer gaming action
this will require a paid subscription just like today. Consider that Xbox
360 owners can get online at the standard level decribed above. There will
be many who will want to upgrade. This presents a tremendous opportunity
for our retail partners to drive more Xbox Live subscription sales.

Hey Microsoft, how about including some VGA cables?? I'm in the same boat
that the majority are in. We have tv and computer monitor, but NO HDTV. Get
real. If you really want us to play the Xbox at HD fidelity, you will
atleast include VGA cables so we can play these games on our computer
monitors. I don't have money to burn on a HDTV just for my X360....

VGA cables don't come with it, but they are available.

Actually, it's not a VGA box like the DC had, it's a VGA with standard
audio outs (red and white). So you'll still need compatible speakers with
that style jack, which I haven't seen on PC speakers, only on TVs and
speakers made for home entertainment systems.
