I have:
MSI Turbo-r
tbird 800@880 (110x8)
128 mb PC100 and a 256 PC133 (total 392)
WinME

Is it better to drop the 128 pc100 (cas3) and have ramclock to 133 and cas 2 or keep the 392 total and have ram clock at 100 and cas 3? Are the benefits from faster setting better from more RAM?

Thanks

I'd say ditch the PC100 stick. Unless you're using stuff like Photoshop, Maya, trueSpace, MS SQL server, etc., you probably won't benefit from more than 256MB anyways.

bash-2.04$ kill -9 1
init: Just what do you think you're doing, Dave?

For one thing, Thunderbirds will run much more stable at CAS 2. So.. If I was you, I would ditch the pc100 CAS 3. Tom has an article about that :) Go find it under memory or processor. Anyways my configuration is as follows,...

Athlon 900@907(default) need to push my system to get .01% increase in perfoormance and lose my stabilty in the doing., 2 128 MB sticks of pc150 Corsair CAS 2. Thats what I hope you would do with your system, get the crap out... :) But to answer your question.... your system will run with both sticks, it just slows the clock on your 133 ! :(..
