I was wondering what would be a good cpu cooler for an AMD 8150? It's being used for video editing, not gaming.

The Hyper 212 EVO is always good. If you want something cheaper, you can go for a Xigmatek Loki SD963 or a Hyper TX3.

its hard to beat the cooling/cost ratio of the hyper 212+
its a large cooler so make sure it will fit in your case.

The EVO's only $5 more, though.

The Hyper 212 looks like a good cpu cooler. I was wondering - do the water cooled units work that much better for the added price? Thanks again.

They do work better, and you can see just how much better with a little Googling, but air coolers work fine at maintaining safe temperatures.
